Do you struggle with anxiety and/or depression in your own life? Have you encountered this struggle in the lives of those around you? You’re not alone. Anxiety and depression are two of the most common human experiences in our day and age. Many Christians find themselves struggling to navigate the complexities of their own experience of anxiety and/or depression. Many of us want to help our friends who are struggling but don’t know where to begin. How do we understand these human experiences through the lens of Scripture and a gospel of grace?
As Jesus’ church, we need to be equipped with God’s truth to understand our own struggles and mobilized with practical, redemptive tools to wisely walk with others in their suffering.
But, how do we do this and what will it look like?
Join Trinity Community Church and Dr. Ed Welch for a half-day conference on Saturday, April 1 where we’ll explore answers to questions like:
- Is my anxiety sinful?
- How can I manage my anxious symptoms (like stress, panic attacks, etc.)?
- Can Christians struggle with depression?
- How can I help my friends understand my experience with anxiety and/or depression?
- How do I help my friends who struggle with anxiety and/or depression?
- How can I help my kids process their fear and anxiety?
We’ll answer these questions and many more (and we’ll hope you join us)!
